Who uses LiveKaatha

Accounts are created for a business by LiveKaatha; the app has no public sign-up. Each business has its own administrator (the owner), who can add staff (managers). A business's data is visible only to that business's own users.

Information we handle

• Account details: name, email address, phone number and password (stored only as a one-way hash).
• Business records you enter: products and stock, warehouses, customers, suppliers and shippers (names, phone numbers, addresses), sales, purchases, returns, damage, expenses, cash and bank balances, cheques, and the business's own settings and logo.
• Photos you choose to attach: for example a receipt, a cheque or a product photo. The camera is used only when you tap to take such a photo or to scan a barcode.
• Technical data: the time of requests and basic server logs needed to keep the service secure and working. We do not use advertising identifiers and do not track you across other apps or websites.

This website

The website at livekaatha.com is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers. Fonts and images are served from our own site, not from third parties. If we ever add analytics, we will say so here first.

When you send the contact form, we receive the name, email address, phone number, business name, subject and message you type, along with your IP address and browser type, which we keep with the message to detect abuse. We use this only to reply to you and to keep a record of the conversation. Email us at support@livekaatha.com if you want a contact message deleted.

How we use it

Only to provide LiveKaatha to your business: to record and show your stock, sales and accounts, to produce reports and invoices, to sign you in, to reset a forgotten password by email, to prevent duplicate or fraudulent entries, and to keep backups so your data can be restored. We do not sell your data, share it for advertising, or use it to build profiles.

Where it is stored and how it is protected

Data is stored on servers we operate, hosted in the European Union, in a PostgreSQL database. Connections use encryption (HTTPS). Each business's records are kept separate by the database itself, so one business cannot read another's. Uploaded photos are only served to signed-in users. Backups are taken daily and kept for a limited time.

Sharing

We do not share your data with third parties, except with the service providers that host our servers or send our emails, only as needed to run the service, or when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep a business's data while its account is active. When a business closes its account, its data is deleted from the live system and disappears from backups as they expire, within 30 days.

Your choices and deleting data

A business administrator can edit or delete records at any time. To delete a user account, or an entire business account and its data, email support@livekaatha.com from the email address registered on the account. We confirm and complete the request within 30 days.

Children

LiveKaatha is a business tool and is not intended for children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above; significant changes will be announced in the app.
